The most frequently asked question so it’s time to drop a word. I come from Poland, Upper Silesia region. I started DJing 14 years ago with a stage name Shinra but when I changed my main music style into house music I picked up a new name – Timo Higgs (never said I am mystical “God’s particle but I am interested in quantum physics).
This collaborated perfectly to the new music that I was producing and the newly discovered tones/frequencies that matched to it. Hence the name Timo Higgs was created.
I was always imagining myself performing out of Poland. So, I was sure that using my real name would not work. I can say it’s more of a tongue twister for foreigners to pronounce my name (Przemyslaw?! yes You can try).
